Adirondacks: Ski Season

It’s no secret that Gore Mountain is our Adirondacks go-to for alpine skiing, with reasonably priced classic lifts and beautiful areas the more you explore the mountain. Regional opportunities like Whiteface await skiers willing to journey north. We’re also suckers for a quick few runs at family-oriented Oak Mountain.

The nordic skiing is superb, with a brilliant facility at Lapland Lake, and closer by options at Garnet Hill. Don’t forget local ice skating.
